A lovely vintage designer scarf from Oscar de la Renta with a delicate and beautiful print featuring vintage clock faces, Roman numerals I through XII and botanical roses in full bloom entwined with ribbons and bows. The ribbons bear words that I believe are Latin names for types of roses - one says"Sassafras Arborfolia Ficulneo" and the other "Chama Mespilus Alpina".
SIZE: 34 x 34" square (86 x 86cm)
FABRIC/COLORS: Lightweight silk, label recommends dry cleaning. Soft muted shades of lavender, peach, teal and russet brown.
TAGS: Oscar De La Renta Studio, made in Japan. My understanding is that his earlier scarves were made in Japan.
CONDITION: On close inspection, I found two pinholes - I couldn't get them to show in a closeup. No other issues noted.
